By December, we chose not to go back for Christmas. Instead, Dave and I took a soul-nourishing trip to Jamaica — our place of joy, of warmth, of breath. I thought we were stepping into 2024 with clarity, momentum, and vision. KQU was expanding. Our programs were blooming. And yet… underneath it all, time felt strange. Like I had stepped through a portal, and the old world was dissolving behind me.
